The centerpiece of Elevating Excellence, The Sandi Family Lower School more than doubles our K–5 footprint and establishes a permanent, purpose-built home for early learning at Bullis.

This light-filled facility is designed from the ground up to support academic growth, social-emotional wellness, and whole-child learning from day one.

Our students’ natural curiosity and their expert teachers will guide them as they explore science and outdoor learning spaces, unleash their imagination in light-filled art and music classrooms, and tinker in a fully equipped makerspace. They’ll also enjoy their very own library, a dynamic multipurpose movement space, a state-of-the-art playground, and a dedicated play area and practice field—all built with them in mind. Movement View 1

The large multipurpose movement classroom will offer students an energetic space to connect with their bodies and explore movement in new ways. Here, they’ll have the freedom to express themselves physically, developing coordination, confidence, and a deep sense of self through active, joyful experiences.

Visual Arts

The visual art room features soaring ceilings and expansive windows that flood the space with natural light, creating an inspiring atmosphere for young artists. With plenty of room to experiment, students will have the perfect environment to develop their visual arts skills and let their creativity shine.

Music

The music room, with its high vaulted ceilings, will be an inspiring space where students can learn instruments, develop their voices, and experience the joy of making music together.
