Bullis’ brand-new 38,000-square-foot Lower School will open in the fall of 2025, doubling the size of our current K-5 space. The building is thoughtfully designed and crafted to meet the unique needs of our youngest learners. Each grade level will have its own vibrant suite of classrooms, along with shared spaces that are perfect for their age and stage of development.
Envision the learning spaces in the new Lower School as you go on a guided tour with Head of School Christian Sullivan.
Our students’ natural curiosity and their expert teachers will guide them as they explore science and outdoor learning spaces, unleash their imagination in light-filled art and music classrooms, and tinker in a fully equipped makerspace. They’ll also enjoy their very own library, a dynamic multipurpose movement space, a state-of-the-art playground, and a dedicated play area and practice field—all built with them in mind. This is more than a building—it’s a joyful place for learning, growth, and endless discovery!
A turf field and a playground will be hubs for play, learning, and community building, along with six outdoor learning spaces.
There are eight specialty classrooms, including a makerspace, science lab, movement room, music room, art room, and a multipurpose room.
